AAD - Mobile Meeting App
Full scale meeting app which includes session schedules, credit claiming, interactive maps and much more. My role as the lead developer included buidling the app using Xamarin Forms with a .Net Core API backend leveraging Entity Framework on an Azure SQL instance.
AAD - Mobile Dialogues App
Expert podcast discussions at your fingertips. Save favorites and download episodes for offline listening in a familiar media player intrface. As the lead developer I built several custom controls utilizing native Android and Apple SDK libraries using C# coupled with Xamarin Forms for the overall application delivery.
AAD - Website
The Academy's premier association website with useful resources for the dermatology community. This project is an ongoing collaboration between several IT team members. Through the years I have built numerous Standalone applications (MVC/WebForms) and API services (.Net Core/Web API/WCF).
AAD - Sharepoint Intranet
A couple years ago the Academy had a Sharepoint site to help organize internal operations. At the time I was the lead developer for this project in charge of building and implementing custom templates, forms and controls. All portions were built using C# and Sharepoint designer.
BG Media - ESR
Software designed for hospitals to manage patient lists, pshysician portfolios, vacation schedules and much more. Through a collaboration with a team of developers I custom developed several new sites using VB/C# as well as handled maintenance, optimization, and support of legacy sections.
BG Media - ADUS
Research software used for ultrasound images and videos. Organize, tag and evaluate subsets of data. As the lead developer I created the site using ASP.NET Forms and C# working with various media codecs. The backend utilized ADO.NET and SQL Server.
BG Media - ACS Ultrasound for Surgeons
CD-ROM course designed for interactive learning with educational medical content. Each surgeon who completed the course is awarded CME credit. I was the lead developer on this project which was created using Adobe air and Flash 3.0
BG Media - Healthy Living Kiosk
Interactive media kiosk platform designed to create awareness and teach people the benefits of living healthy. I was the lead developer on this project which was created using Adobe air and Flash 3.0
Personal Projects
Goalstretch
A web app designed for people to set milestones and measure progress towards achieving their goals. This included full robust reporting dashboards for users utilizing Synchfusion on top of Azure SQL instances. Built using .Net Core MVC with an identity server backend managing access to both the site and api.
Midwest Cannabis Education
Website for an organization which held annual conferences providing medical marijuana education for both doctors and patients. The site was created upon the Contentful CMS platform to allow for full customization. It featured a managed backend for site users built with .Net core MVC, Identity server and Azure SQL.
Deskclock Pro
An alarm clock application for Windows which featured customizable backgrounds, mp3 support, snooze functionality and more. It was my first public software release and was distributed as freeware on the web. The application was completely built using VB.Net and ended up receiving several awards!
Flash games
In college I enjoyed playing flash games but also had a blast developing them as well. I created several of them from classics like Tetris to an interactive bowling game. For these I created my own art, learned animation techniques, working with music and practiced different levels of user interaction. Started my own company from this as well - Tapora!
API sample sites
I'm a big believer in creating sample projects to learn concepts. With these sites built in ASP.Net Forms I was working with many different APIs provided by companies like Youtube and Microsoft. After developing several of these sites I was able to learn about web lifecycles, development, data transactions, publishing, analytics and more!

The bulk of my professional development experience has been using Microsoft's .NET technology to create dynamic and feature rich applications serving the health care industry. I really enjoy being a developer and love bringing ideas to life. I always look forward to learning more and I'm currently focusing on mobile development and working in the cloud.
